One of the most beautiful cites of Europe is Lisbon. Here you enter into a magical atmosphere, full of charm and it is very pleasant to stroll through its streets and alleyways. But how can we not be attracted by the shopping fever? Right here, in a charming city with a relaxing atmosphere. Despite the fact that modern shopping centres are becoming more and more numerous, here you can still find many traditional shops and specialty stores. If you have the time and the desire, you can find some things that just do not exist in other places.

Chiado and Bairro Alto are the areas of fashion and design in Lisbon and this is where the old and the new mix freely together. The coffee shop “A Brasileira” is a “must do” as well as Piazza di Sao Carlos. Here you can see the most beautiful and popular monuments of the city while you are shopping. What better than to mix culture and entertainment!

Shopping here is very special because there are lots of hidden places, which sell everything, even unexpected things. I’ll just mention a few places like: De Feira Ladra – a famous market with vintage bric-a-brac, Fábrica Santa Ana where you will find a unusual craftwork, Vista Alegre where they have ceramics, Manuel Tavares – delicious foods or in Campo de Santa Clara which is near the Church São Vicente de Fora, the market of Alfama. In this market you will find cheap clothes and shoes, second-hand books as well as nuts, bolts, brass items, glasses, and second hand vinyl records etc.

But the popular destination to buy special things is definitely the lower town (Baixa). Rua Augusta is one of the busiest streets and where you can find many ideal shops. The most elegant district is without a doubt Chiado, or Bairro Alto. But we must not forget Avenida da Liberdade – it is very pleasant for strolling along and here you can find fashion houses and famous boutiques. You will certainly recognize the brands of famous clothes like: Massimo Dutti, Adolfo Dominguez, Timberland, Calvin Klein, the eternal and unmistakable Armani, or the rigor of Alfred Dunhill. Here there is always something to see or buy.

What are you waiting for? Travel to the beautiful Portuguese capital. Rent apartments in Lisbon, you’ll find comfort, economy in a fantastic city that is waiting to be discovered!
